n.
1.
The government or authority of a tyrant; a country governed by an absolute ruler; hence, arbitrary or despotic exercise of power; exercise of power over subjects and others with a rigor not authorized by law or justice, or not requisite for the purposes of government.
Now if the above does not make it clear that the seizures of weapons after Katrina were illegal...I don't know what will. "Not authorized by law" THE MAYOR RAY NAGIN HAD NO POWER TO ISSUE AN ORDER OF THESE SEIZURES! So would this make him a tyrant?
The citizens of this great nation should take our country back by going back to the times of the protest and rallies of the 60's. I was only a kid during that decade...but I remember a lot of things...like seeing riots...protest...police beating protesters...the civil rights movement...bussing...I was in the third grade...the Vietnam war...I remember my cousin going off to the war...an older guy that lived across the street from us too...I remember he had a 67 or 68 Chevy Camaro SS...there are many things I remember as a kid during the 60's...and the thing I think most about it is...is that it was a time of change...our country went through a national wide change...hell...it probably helped change the world. I remember hearing about the warriors that came back from the Vietnam war being SPIT on in airports by some who opposed the war. I have traveld around 40.000 to 50.000 miles in the sky...maybe more from November 2004 to Novemeber 2007... airports and hotels were my home... and I saw many warriors coming or going to Iraq...I had even met a couple from the Vieatnam war...and had the honor of shaking there hand...and thanking them for what they sacreficed for me when I was a boy. The difference is so great from the two...one being spit on...the other being welcomed by strangers waving the American flag...I thank them both for what they have done for our country...they have sacrificed a great deal for the American people. It's too bad there government turns there back on them though...the sickness and nightmares they suffer.
