Guns don’t kill people…people kill people.
I think if you will look at these crime stats…you will see that law abiding citizens SHOULD be allowed to carry a firearm to protect themselves and there loved ones.
Maybe someday…one of us…will save your life!!!
These statistics are for Texas from 2005…I am having a hard time finding anything more current.
1 murder every 6 hour 14 minutes.
1 rape every 1 hour 1 minute.
1 Robbery every 15 minutes.
1 Aggravated assault every 7 minutes.
1 motor vehicle theft every 6 minutes
1 Violent crime every 4 minutes.
1 Property crime every 32 seconds.
1 burglary every 2 minutes.
1 Larceny theft every 46 seconds.
It takes only a few seconds for a crime to be comitted…but when you need the police…they are only minutes away.
